06-16-1985 has been referred to as the "ecstacy show"...it's even mentioned in one of the deadbases how people were writhing and mass hug-steria ensued...i wouldn't touch X with a ten foot phish fan but i definitely could only imagine being dosed at the Greek during that second set had to be something that gives me chills and I wasn't even there...

I wish you could really know how extreme it got. I had a complete stranger play the drums on my back while I was in a trance during the cryptical/ other one while my friends were wondering if I had lost it.
The whole weekend was occured after I was actually hit by a real bus and thrown 30 ft in the air and walked away unhurt. Life truely is majical!

Thus the name! buscameby

30 ft. in the air. Holy smokes. Amazing you just landed on your feet. Glad you weren't hurt. I thought you had a good name for the Dead forum but this makes it even better, nice double entendre.

actually landed on my butt, but it was still a safe landing. I have a picture from the Denver Post the next day of the smashed out window of the bus. It was really quite amazing. I was sorre for about a week, but No serious damage.

I am going to listen to that 6.16.85 show thanks to you and your amazing bus story. Would you recommend the SBD you posted a review on or the Oade recording?

I'm not familiar with Oade recordings, I liked the board but I have a audiance copy Ive had for years that captured the energy better than the board but I haven't found one posted on LMA.

Not sure if you found this feature yet, but you can go into a year in Dead history at this link. Then in that year the shows are listed chronologically. I think there were 6 entries for the 6.16.85 show.

Hey, I was going to drop your bro a line. See if he wants to hook up to go see Dark Star Orchestra with me and my concert going buddy.

Tell him you met his bro on here. Tell him to get his ass on here and learn a few things. ha ha. Enjoy the show.

"ten foot phish fan" -- fuckin hilariousness. Going back to one of last's year's posts "LMFAO!" Do ya rem that one?

PS. Bobby and the band are kicking major ass on that BTW, thanks a million man. I knew it was going to be kick ass, so i dusted off the rather new M-Audio monitors to piss off the neighbors.

Update: Holy shit, Scarlet just entered the airwaves of Thailand!
